Where Are They Now: Deepher Deidre

We are bippity-boppity back with our newest Where Are They Now spotlight featuring another amazing Alumna of our Zeta Gamma Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon. This week were are excited to introduce the one, the only, Deidre Schneider. Deidre was apart of our Founding class and was an active member from her start in Fall 2015 until her graduation in Spring 2017. During her time in Zeta Gamma she served as our Sunshine Chair- bringing joy and sisterly love wherever she went. Since she was majoring in Communications, her ability to talk to people and understand situations was incredible. We are so lucky to have had time making memories with this incredible young woman.

When Deidre walks into the "office" it definitely isn't cluttered with cubicles and MacBooks. Deidre walks to work and sees Cinderella's Castle and crowds of smiling faces. Have you figured out where she works yet? Disney World! Yes, our incredible sister gets to call Walt Disney World her place of employment. She currently is serving as a Cast Member at Magic Kingdom where she works as an Attractions Hostess for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Little Mermaid Ride. She got her start with Disney during her time with the Disney College Program and has been employed as staff since August 2017.

Deidre attributes some of her success in the "real world" to Delta Phi Epsilon for giving her the confidence of believing in herself and loving who she is as an individual. You ARE amazing, what's not to love?? Her favorite memory from her time with DPhiE was when her little Liv ran home to us on Bid Day 2016. "We connected so well during recruitment and it was an incredible feeling." Deidre says that she chose to find her home in Delta Phi Epsilon because our philanthropy ANAD and her love for promoting body positivity. Deidre was apart of the Flamingo Family which includes her twin Emily Kelly (Alum) who is following in Deidre's footsteps and just finished her work with the Disney College Program as well as her little, Liv Morrison (No Longer Affiliated with Kutztown University) Deidre really has done such magical things already and we can't wait to see where her next adventure takes her.
