Where Are They Now: Deepher Alexis
Sorority girls come in all different forms; Some fly off to work in cities across the globe, some go right into classrooms to teach and others spend their days helping around the community in any way that they can. Our sisters are always up to something unique and Alexis Miller is quite the example of how amazing our sisters can be. Alexis Miller, alumnae graduated from Kutztown in Spring 2017, with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science. Following her graduation from Kutztown, she was accepted to Montgomery County's Municipal Police Department Academy *Way to go girl* She has been training hard and learning all that she needs to know to be the best that she can be and after many weeks, we are so proud to say that on December 13th 2017, Alexis graduated from the academy and is one step closer to her dream of pursuing a career in Law Enforcement! We were talking to Alexis and we asked her to explain more about why she wanted to go into a career in Law Enforcement, and she explained it perfectly!
"I am going into a career of law enforcement because I believe in the importance of justice, protecting the rights of our citizens and giving a voice to those who have been silenced. There truly is no other profession like being a police officer- one moment you could be getting a bat out of someones house to being the first responder to a fatal car accident. Having the opportunity to help those in need, regardless of what you are responding to, is important. I feel truly blessed to be embarking on such an honorable career and thankful for those who have and continue to support me during this journey." -Alexis Miller '17
We are so proud of all that you have done Alexis and we can't wait to hear about the rest of your journey! YITS
